Botany District
The Chisinau Botanical Garden was founded in 1950 and has an area of over 10,000 square meters. There are many varieties of flowers and plants, both native and exotic.

Park “Valea Morilor”
Certainly the largest green space in the city, the Valea Morilor was founded in 1951 and contains several varieties of trees including the Canadian pyramidal poplar, the white willow, the chestnut, the linden, the black pine and many others. Inside the park there is the open-air summer theater called "Teatro Verde" which can accommodate up to 5000 people and is used for the main concerts. The “Comsomolist” lake borders the park and during the summer it is possible to rent small rowing boats.
Inside the Valea Morilor area there is the "Moldexpo" International Exhibition Center where it is possible to admire, at its entrance, the statue of Lenin which until 1992 was located in the place where that of Stefan cel Mare now rests.

Riscani District
Continuing along Bulevard Renasterii beyond the bridge over the Bìk river we enter the Riscani district, here after a few hundred meters stands the State Circus built in 1981.
It has a circular plan with a capacity of 1900 spectators and the diameter of the internal arena is 13 metres. The interior is decorated with circus sculptural motifs.
