Hello everyone, I'm Alfredo Ferrari and I've been living and working in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova, since 2007.
I am a licensed self-employed tour guide with my own car (a 7-seater minivan) and a member of the National Association of Moldovan Tourist Guides (ANG-RM).
In February 2023, I was awarded the Diploma of Honor by the Ministry of Culture for being one of the best tour guides in the Republic of Moldova; subsequently, in September 2024, I was named Best Guide of the Year by the Moldovan Government, again through the Ministry of Culture.
I offer individual clients and groups assistance, guidance, and accompaniment in Italian, Spanish, and English throughout their stay in this country, to all its main tourist destinations, including Transnistria and Gagauzia.
In addition to culture, society, economy, traditions, and gastronomy, during my guided tours, I will also provide you with information on the history of this country, from its founding in the Middle Ages as a principality to its declaration of republican independence in 1991 after 50 years of membership in the Soviet Union.
Aside from Chisinau, my favorite and recommended destinations are: 1) the historical-cultural area "Orheiul Vechi", 2) the Bender Fortress, Tiraspol and Transnistria, 3) the Tipova and Saharna monasteries with the nature of the Nistru River, 4) the underground wine cities of Cricova and Milestii Mici, 5) Soroca, the pearl of the north and the "Gypsy" capital of Moldova, 6) the Capriana and Hincu monasteries with the beauty of the Codrii forests, 7) the autonomous region of Gagauzia, the Levantine soul of the country, 8) the lakes of Lower Prut, Manta and Beleu, a RAMSAR ecosystem reserve.
